Avoid bottled water because it will save waste and carbon emissions.  Not buying bottled water each day saves on plastic and also saves you the purchase price.  Carry around a Kleen Kanteen, Sigg, or equivalent instead.

SunnyDaydreame says : Last time I was in the airport, they allowed me to carry an empty water bottle through security which I filled up once I was through the security checkpoint.  Much better than buying the $3.99 bottles sold in airports these days.

jediwright says : If you must buy a bottled drink, I recommend going with the POM Tea because you can reuse the glass as a portable drink container or as a glass at your home or office.

Worse case scenario you recycle it. Best case scenario you brew your tea at home and carry in a Kleen Canteen or an equivalent thereof.

Just be careful if you reuse the bottle.. you should let it dry first so that no bacteria grow:

lizteich says : every now and then it's unavoidable to buy a bottle of water (like after chucking all of your liquids to go through security in the airport), but it's pretty simple to reuse the same bottle. i've gone a week or two using the same bottle, rinsed out and then filled from my brita filter.
