If you feel a little chilly, but you don't feel like cranking up the heat or if the heat's already on and it's just not keeping you warm enough, what do you do?

Use a space heater in those circumstances. A space heater costs less to run than your furnace. The space heater costs up to 20 cents and hour to run; if your furnace ran for an hour it could cost up to $1.85. WOW, that's such a difference, but with a space heater you're only heating up the room.

You should use a convection heater for a small room that is insulated, but if its an open area use a quartz heater. Be careful not to leave it on.
